I got an idea!

Oh, I've got a great pic of my Gomie. But it's on my work computer. It's the very first picture I took of the kids. I'll have to e-mail it to myself....stay tuned.

The "then" pics are the first pics I ever took of my two RESs, Tank, and Diesel, and the "now" pics, are the ones I just took a couple of minutes ago...

and here's her new one! ....Well technically its the same tank but now it looks so much better and IS better for Serra! Once my family and I are moved into a new apartment we'll buy a bigger tank for her!

wow the two babies have different coloured shells!

They did, but they both have walnut and caramel colors now. it's so interesting that they go from green to brown.

Hey Scripta, I don't think I saw your above tank area before. Did you make that? I like it a lot! Did you use plexiglass for the sides?

Lol, you are right, I do like to show off my tank. But I think I have worked long, and hard enough to show it off. Summer job...

Funny story about the above tank basking area. I ordered one from Runningwideopen, and I measured wrong. Not extremely wrong, but a few centimeters. It didn't fit like it was supposed to because of my error, so I adjusted it to work a different way.

Nathan, yea that 240gal is awesome! It's definitely a thing of beauty that needs to be shared with everyone else.

Heres what my 2 big turtles (Padalin and Madalin as my mom likes to call them) were in when i got them last October

Itty, bitty baby Leo- within the first 3 or so days that we got her!




this is after the first renovation- but i never got a picture of the tank when it had gravel!! >_< (still... doing a lot wrong though) lol

EDIT:: i thought a compared to hand photo would be appropriate to show the difference in size from the first picture to now- it's not the greatest quality pic but it's the most recent of Leo in my hand!

Wow, she's growing beautifully! It's always nice to see the really small babies being raised successfully to healthy adults. Nice work!
