Here's a ton of them! Don't worry about the genders - lots of people get them completely reversed and the turtles don't mind a bit.

I can see why you are having a tough time naming your turtles. Having a bad name might mean he'd endure ruthless teasing from the other turt. For me, I named one turtle after her personality- Spazz. I named her with love- she is adorable being so hyper. She is very alert. So the name stuck.

For my other turtle, someone I know is moving to Hawaii and said that Honu is the Hawaiian word for turtle. I liked that so I have a turtle named Turtle. My friend has a nickname for Honu-- H.F.T. which stands for Hawaiian for Turtle.

People tried to get me to name my turts Cuff and Link after Rocky movie. I didn't go for that.

Oh by the way, I don't know the genders of my turtles. I have intuition that Spazz is a girl and Honu is a boy. I'll probably be wrong about that, lol.

Anyway, didn't mean to ramble on. I love talking turtles.

lol

When I was looking for a name for my turtle, I was asking my friends what should it's name be. Most people gave weird names like " Killer T", "Wurtle", "The shelled dude"...etc etc
Then this girl called Sarah I knew told me to name it after her! She was kiddding but I took her seriously. LOL

Then I changed Sarah to Serra to make it look more turtley!

A lot of people pick duos to name their turtles after like ben and jerry or something. You could also name them based on their personalities, if I had done that I think I would have changed my turtle's name to Sassy haha. I named her Leo when I first got her, and later found out she was a girl but kept the name because I liked it anyways :-).
