random turtle question (just a food for though ?)

what will happen if you put an aquatic turtle, say an RES, into a non aquatic/dry habitat--like a tortoise habitat. random qeustion just ran through my mind today.

It would be stressed out and try to look for water.
OR
it'll bask for a while, then be stressed out and try to look for water.

That's like asking what would happen if I kept my pet camel in Greenland. It would be very stressed and very uncomfortable. Plus RES need water to eat, so it's important to have a large water area for them. There's a reason RES are semi-aquatic, that's the habitat their bodies function best at, so that's the habitat you need to provide as a RES owner.
