You know how Serra is. He won't go down living with a girl's name
Besides, I want to change it.
So, you can either vote for her new name or offer a suggestion

I like River the best. Especially since he's a river cooter! (I'm still in a bit of shock) It will take some getting used to that's for sure!

Hey! Serra was a male?
I suggest Serene, as in calm and peaceful. I think it goes with Serra as it's female counterpart.
Diction:
se·rene (sə-rēn') adj. - Unaffected by disturbance; calm and unruffled.
You said that he is not fearful of you right? I think it's the perfect name.

If you must change it, maybe just throw an 'i' in there and make it Sierra?
Serra never seemed very feminine to me, more like an abstract word than a name.

No Sierra is a girls name too.

You could always go "Sergio" or just "Serge" but that's too comical I think. Naw if you're going to rename him you might as well pick one that you like. Serra still carries that "girl" image and we need to delete that part. Start fresh. He's a MALE, dangit!! aar aar aar!

he he, sounds too redneckish to me ("Cooter" from Dukes of Hazzard). But this younger generation has a way of turning
everything into a sexual connotation.
