Well the turts were at it again this morning.. I had put some new decorations in the tank.. some rocks I glued together to make a small "cave" .. a piece of grapewood glued to a flat rock and then put some fake plants in that.. Just some things to make it look not so empty and to give the fishies a place to hide.

Well, I was amazed that both structures remained intact without being "attacked". Today was redecorating day I guess. Squirt decided after 3 days, he didn't like the rocks like that.. so he kept trying to wedge himself under the ledge and to move the rocks.. haha little bugger, I fixed it so ya can't move it. Think that stopped him from trying.. NOOOO.. he's been at it for almost an hour now. JT decides she's going to go over and see what's up with him and what he's doing. Normally she's the first to start the trouble... well she gets in his face and starts doing the mating dance and is getting upset that he's not staying still and watching her.

I've posted a few pictures... got a good one of the "dance" haha.

Thanks for the pictures, and that's why my turtle got his nickname, because he does the exact same things. He doesn't realize no matter how hard he tries he won't succeed.

mine are a handful too. just make sure theres nothing that might cause one to get trapped down there. also is that a visitherm stealth heater? those are my favorite water heaters.

and she's the one doing the dance? my male RES is constantly doing that (with no success :) )
