Ok my turt is starting to piss me off. I keep putting rocks in the boay part of fake plants and he keeps knocking them out and letting the plants float to the top. any ideas on how i can keep this from happening?

Turtles are known for redecorating.. it is their home after all. A possible solution to them uprooting the fake plants is to use aquarium silicone and "glue" them to a rock or piece of slate. This sometimes works. Just be warned, as I said, they LOVE to redecorate and will try moving anything and everything you place in their tank.

Carol is so right! Neptune moves his rocks around all the time. Actually I like it, because he is so lazy that when I see him rearranging I am happy he is moving around!

Suction cups work wonders. I have Mikey's cave suction cupped to the bottom of his tank, he can't move it. So he sits on top of the thing like fine, I'll just sit here and pout. Plus it's really hard for them to even get to the suction cups to pull them up.

I have two plastic plants with rocks siliconed to the "bay" part of the base waiting for the bond to fully take before they go into the tank. This has always worked really well for me, and I have some plastic plants that have rocks siliconed to them that I've been using for a few years now.
I don't mind that my turtle moves them around--we take turns at redecorating.
