what are they?

"death bowls" is what we affectionately call those turtle lagoons. They are usually sold to unsuspecting people that think the little baby turtle is so cute but don't know what the turtles really require to have a good environment or happy life. thats sad, and it come with a care sheet, i wonder how much wrong info is on that care sheet

Probably most of it considering the environment they are providing for it already. And to top matters, there's all that gravel in the bottom that's dangerous for turtles to eat.

I can't say enough how glad I am that I found this site as soon as I got my little guy.
