thats not dancing, turtles are very sensitive to vibrations, its probably movements of pain.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's painful to them. I crank my music when I clean and none of the turtles could care less. Do your homework with your music on not so loud, or go in another room from the turtles and crank your music up all you want.

Use headphones, that way no one will be bothered.

I used to use headphones a lot until I read that one hour with headphones increases the bacteria in your ears by 500% or something. Ick.

Considering how often I use mine, I did not need to hear that (no pun intended).

Yeah same here and I have an ear infection right now!!!! *cringes* That was not what I wanted to hear, especially since I had my headphones on and I usually sleep with them on too.

I keep my stereo on once in a great while with my turtle. He doesn't really do anything odd. He just hides under his dock. But I don't leave it on for a long time, usually for a few songs and tahdah it's done.

All he has to worry about is me watching Star Wars cranked to the max. Sometimes I think Mikey thinks Vader is his father since there is a picture of Vader above his tank that I think he looks at once in a while.

My mom leaves NPR (National Public Radio) on all day for my five dogs to listen to (she's crazy and believes that classical music calms them, ech, come on , mom! :) ) Anyway, Rex and Flow don't seem to care, even though the stereo is six inches away. And it's not that loud.

probably because it doesnt have a lot of bass, anything without bass should be fine, i use my radio all the time, they dont seem to care, but i dont have a giant subwoofer or anything...
