My friend just got back from Germany, but before she left, she asked what I wanted her to bring back. I said anything turtle. She apparently had all of her troops looking for turtle stuff and she could not find anything. Finally on her last day she found a little stuffed turtle keychain that has a turtle with a green little tuff of hair and a bow tie on it. She brought it back and said that Germany must hate turtles because that was all she could find. But I love the keychain and all the instructions are in german! Plus I got some German chocolate...which is really good.
But I just thought I would share how Germany does not have turtle stuff.

from what I was told turtles aren't really native to Germany so thats probably why there wasnt any turtle stuff there.

It may be the part where she was stationed at, she was stationed next to the castle that inspired walt disney (I can't even pronounce let alone spell the name) so maybe other parts will have turtle stuff.

I lived in Germany 18 years (I'm turning 19 next week) and I have a bunch of turtle figuers, a turtle lamp, a turtle keychain, turtle t-shirts, and so on. My point is turtles may not be the most popular animal but Germany even thinks they are adorable. I'm a turtle fan and guess why? One day I went into the german version of Home Depot and I went into the Reptile/Aquarium department and I saw those very cute baby res, so I fell in love.
