i was biking with my parents and we stoped next to a small pond.
we went next to the waters edge were i saw a strange thing moving in the water!when i took a closer look it was turtle!i took my shoes and sox of and went into the water bare footed.i got the turtle in my hands and we noticed it was a soft shell turtle!it was a bit muddy and slimey but cute nonetheless.i gave it to my dad so i could wash my feet off(we had a cool water backpack to use when we were biking:)).when i looked at my dad he was putting his finger neer the turtles head and it bit him lol!!he was so startled that it bit him he droped it!!(lucky it was on the grass).at the end i put it back in the pond.

thought i would share a funny turle story :):D

Soft shells are known to be aggressive... I guess to make up for not having a hard shell. It was probably just trying to protect itself from the big "predators" that had captured it.
