Hello everyone, new to the community, 1st post, woot!
right now i have 3 babies. A Mapp and 2 RES. I purchased them 3 days ago and they are living happily (i think) in a spacious 15 gallon tank (pics soon). Are there any concerns i should have about them getting along? So far the Mapp is the only one still scared of everything that moves.

I'm not sure about them coexisting peacefully, but RES are known to be a more aggressive species when they are in a community tank. Feed each of them separately to insure they all get their fair share and no one turtle bullies the others.
I had to laugh at your description " spacious 15 gallon tank". There is absolutely nothing spacious about 15 gallons and it is barely be enough for one hatchling let alone three. Minimum tank size is 10 gallons per inch of turtle. If each of your turtles are over an inch long then a 30 gallon is already a must if not larger. And as they grow their home should also. A habitat that is too small will lead to aggression.

yeah. i was being scarcastic about the "spacious" part of it. im looking for an affordable 55 gallon tank, but my selection is a little low. Craigslist is always good for finding cheap things like that.
After I posted this topic i read all about the 10 gallon rule of thumb. So im now on the lookout for a 55 gallon tank. if i do end up finding a 55G what type of accessories should i look at getting? (ie: filter, lights, heater, etc...)

Definitely get a heater, thermometer, filter (the Rena XP3 is a good investment), basking light, UVB light, and a basking area. Check out the Equipment Review area for other good ideas.
