paco doesnt like my borther

when ever i pic up paco he is always calm and sometime falls asleep in my hand. but when my borhter picks him up, paco freaks out and tries to bite him.
so i have one question. do turtles prefer one person over another?

He's probably familiar with your scent, and maybe you're handling him differently than your brother. They can also recognize faces.

I've heard that turtles will get used to one person or another and be afraid of new people but it wasn't until a few weeks ago we got to witness this.
We had friends over and the whole time they were here and walking around by the tank, Koopa stayed at the bottom of the tank - hiding.

My turtle hates my brother too.She'll snap and make that hissy sound. But when I take her back from him she calms down. It may be becuse he makes faces at her, so she just makes faces back at him.Its pretty funny.
