I have 3 "Red" eared sliders, but one of my turtles have yellow ears? Why is that?

Not all RES have red ears--the color can vary from dark to light red-orange. Some RES don't have any red. Are the other markings on the one with the yellow ears about the same as the others?

"red" ear sliders come in a variety of ear colors. they come in yellow, red, and orange. i have a orange ear slider. they all take the same care and are all actually called red ear sliders. so just incase you were wondering your turt dosnt have any problems. lol

Well, Kratos, my biggest turt actually has no red whatsoever on his head. His ears are yellow as can be, thats mainly how I can tell them apart. He is still cute though.

yeah almost all turtles are cute i think. such a wonderfull creature.

i agree with GouzlanTheAmerican all turts are cute but specail ones are beautiful!!
