cleaning the shell

I was wondering how u clean the turtles shell?

umm... Try going to the place you bought your turtle (or Petsmart

) and asking for soap and scrubs for turts. than put the soap stuff on and gently scrub.

DO NOT USE SOAP.
In most cases, it is not necessary to clean a shell. If it does have a slimy build up, use a clean towel and wipe it off. If there is algae and you want to remove it (its usually not harmful), use a new toothbrush and scrub it off.

Never used soap with ANYTHING. That includes cleaning your tank, dock, etc... Never EVER use soap.
If you want to clean her shell, just use a toothbrush and brush very GENTLY.

never, never use soap. i always use a toothbrush(clean, new)!

I have a special soft towel that I just wash it hot water. i wipe the kids shells every week when I clean the aquarium. One seems to like it even.
