im pretty sure turtles dream... :D

i was across the room one day, reading a book, and larry was in quasi-superman position up on her dock, with one giant foot extended back as far as it would go with her toes spread, and i heard ::scritch scritch scritch:: i figured she was just adjusting, or possibly going back in the water. then i heard it again ::scritch scritch scritch:: again thought nothing of it...15 minutes later i was still hearing it, so im like "what the?" and i sneak over, and larry's extended foot is just wiggling and paddling and she just looked so happy and content. i then snuck out of the room to giggle so as not to disturb her.

anyone else caught their little greenie dreaming?

Haha that is soooo cute! I've caught my turtle doing something like that when he's sleeping underwater, but never while basking. He doesn't fall asleep during basking too often, always gotta be ready to slide on in i guess.

I don't know whether Spot dreams sometimes or just likes to get in odd positions. Right now he's up on his new diving board platform with his feet pulled in and his neck streached out with his head on the platform. His eyes are closed. Sooo odd looking!
