Hey guys i went to petco bright and early this morning because they are having all reptiles 50% off this weekend so I bought a Russian tortoise for 50 bucks. Here's my little guy and his set up. They told me its a male so I need to come up with a name, any name ideas out there let me know. And let me know what you think of my set up for him...

Quick tip. The water bowl should be lower. He should be able to climb in as well as drink.

ok and also should change his subtrate? Right now its a mix of alfalfa pellets and hay. But I think hes hibernating so I cant change it now right. Cause I heard if you disturb them while they are hibernating you can kill them, and also Do i need a special light on for him at night.

I don't know about anything else besides the water, sorry.
