Box Turtle and Tortoise Discussion :: New Tank For My Russian Tortoises Delilah And Rambo!!!

Hey guys I rescued two Russian Tortoises yesterday that the person gave me the tank the stand and everything for free. I was on my way to rescue this RES that was being treated like a land turtle for two years in a 30 gallon tank, and the turtle was 12 inches. And they saw my car door magnets that said TLCTurtle/TortoiseRescue and they yelled out the window and said "Do you want two Russian Tortoises?" So I followed them and I'm taking the ones they gave me to my Adopt A Turtle Event on Sunday and the ones I already had I put in the tank they gave me.

That's a really nice tank. Why couldn't they keep them?

it was an older couple and they had them for 6 years and the couples healthy wasnt that great so they said it was getting to be to much for them
