Hello from Southern California

My "friends" have been given to us over the past few years that were raised in tanks and we just turned 'em loose in the backyard. They seem REALLY happy. So happy, that for the first 6 months or so after they were released they wouldnt come near us - me thinks they liked their new home so much they didnt want to go back to the old one. Now they just swim right up to us. Yesterday the next door neighbor came by with a baby he found in his backyard that could only have come from our yard. We released him into the pond with lotsa floating plants and just hope he makes it. We have a few 4 year old big bull frogs and a coupla toads hanging around the yard too. We have done our best to seal off the yard and the current "guys" have all been here a few years now...no fatalities. Also have some big koi cruisin around too...
