Hey!It is his temporary shelter.Container+ water container.I first I trying to give Rasputin to good keepers, but nobody needs him, so I decided to keep him, and started to surfing internet search new information. At first I got lamps, and now learning about nutrition.I love idea with jelly.Last time I forgot to say, both of us are from Russia:)

Once you get past the cost of the filter and tank, the rest is a bit easier

And your english is very good.

Oh, I know the cost:)That is the reason that turtle still has shelter, not a castle:)At first lamps, than tank, than good filter(I have one now, but it is too weak). Here ReS cost 5 $,and sellers said that is is 5sm all it life. And they grow up, many turtles through away.W e haven't good low to protect turtles yet.

Most sellers will lie to you, I think most beginner keepers share a similar story

Привет!! Welcome to the forum pachinko, I love the name of your turtle.
Where I'm at a RES from a pet store is $49.99 ( most of them are usually sick, which is disappointing ) and from a flea market its $11.99. Lucky you хахаха

actually, my turtle passed away about a month ago, and i had two more that also passed away so i switched to fish. But my first two were RES and third was a Mississippi Mud Turtle.
I learned most of my Russian in Toronto by myself and I started to learn Russian when i visited Moscow. I also saw while i was there Red Square, it was very beautiful.
я мог бы выпил немного водки , а .. xaxaxa
