Hi, we FOUND this RES walking around the street outside and took it in about 2 months ago. Have been gradually learning about them and how to take care of it. We live in the desert and I'm pretty sure it was on the verge of death when we found it.

Anyways, it's got this white patch around its neck and feet. It appears to be dry skin, but I don't know. We did just wash out the tank and replaced all the water yesterday. We used reptisafe water conditioner, but im wondering if i messed up. Would these symptoms be cause for concern? Thanks!

Does the white patch go away when she's in the water? Does it feel different compared to other areas of the skin?

Unless it changes color or gets larger, I don't think I would worry about it. It might just be areas that will shed.
