i was wondering. if turtles under 4" are illegal, and mine is a hatchling and i take it to the vet, would i get in trouble or something? because i think my turtle is sick and if i go to the vet, go i have to go with a parent and fill out forms or stuff like that?

It's not illegal to own a turtle under 4" .. but it is illegal to sell them, you should be fine. Why do you think your turtle is sick? What is it doing or not doing that makes you think this??

How long have you had your turtle? How big is s/he? What symptoms does your turtle have?
