Good Morning everyone!

MY name is Gaetano and i have a fish tank 75 gallons with 2 turtles slider over 6". I run a Marineland canister internal filter. Few days ago, for the first time i have tried a Api sludge destroyer to help with wwater smells and turltes poop.

The water become very cloudy!!!! Anyone knows why? it is normal? how can i resolve this? Someone had same experince?

I wish I could help you. I use API sludge destroyer in our 125 gal with 3 Eheim 2217 filter and have never had an issue with clouding. Did you do a water change before adding the API?

Well basically after i added api the water got very murky. So i removed 1/4 of the water and it got a little better. Now the problem is that the water really smells, i think my mistake was to add APi without changing the water. Maybe?

What does it smell like? Overall, it sounds like the filtration is struggling under the load of 2 adult turtles.
