We have had our RES for 10 years now. The past couple of days she has not been able to extend her neck out at all and her head is crooked (off to one side). She won't bring it out to eat or to come up for air. She seems very depressed but I cannot find any information on this nor is there an exotic vet anywhere in my area.

She has a 100 gallon filtered, heated tank with a full basking platform on top. Uv and heat lights, varied diet on live, tried and regular foods. She's always thrived and I can't stand seeing her like this.

Any ideas at all?

Does there appear to be any physical issues or discoloring? What happens when she is out of the water?

Very lethargic and staying out of the water. She just sits in one spot looking depressed. She has not put her head out once.

She looks OK, but perhaps there might be an internal issue. If you can't find a exotics vet, maybe contact a local rehabber/rescue and see who they consult with. She's not even interested in treats?
