Hi I've had my red eared sliders for about 4 months and i noticed the color of it's shell is changing. Should I be worried? Below are the pictures. The bottom pic he's the one under the vegetable.

It might be readying to shed, so keep an eye on it. The seams around the shell/scutes are a little bit wide, so you might need to cut down on the pellets/protein.

Thanks! i've been feeding them mostly mealworms, shrimp and red peppers because they won't eat pellets but recently they've had a change in appetite and eat pellets after i soak it in tuna water and coat it lightly in grounded mealworms/shrimp. how many pellets do you recommend?

It depends on the brand of pellets, but I would say roughly use what will fill roughly 2/3 of their head. Be a little conservative when feeding them as they will overeat when they can.

The Hikari wheat-germ koi pellets can held with the shedding. Our kids seem to enjoy them as well.
