I have 2 turtles, one is about 3.5" and the other is about 2". They were both the same size when I got them 4-5 months ago, but one just kinda blew up O.o Anyways 2 questions:

1. The bigger of the two is shuffling rocks around with his/her back feet. I read this is female behavior, am I correct?

2. Should I worry about the size difference? There is a difference of an inch, but VOLUME wise the bigger of the two is, well, a crapton bigger! There haven't been any problems yet, and they both seem to chill with each other (one actually sleeps on top of the other most times) but I wanted to know if this would be a problem, or if they will be fine together since thats how they have been since I first got them.

Thanks!

1. Not necessarily a female trait, tho I've never seen either of mine do it (mine are both female).

2. As long as they're of similar size, you should be fine. The real danger would be putting a hatchling or other small turtle in with an adult. They may not always get along tho, so just be prepared to separate them if the need arises.
