Lately I've seen the bigger of my two turtles get in the face of the other and he puts both his front legs up against his head as if he's covering his ears and just swims right in front, facing the other turtle.

and my turtles are about 7 months old.

What is this?

It's called fluttering, and it's either aggression or a mating thing. How big are they and how big is the tank?
