Because my dad. I think you would understand that he might not want another tank in my room

If you cannot give them a proper home then you need to find new homes for them.
How did the tank burst? Did it have a leak? Tanks don't just bust instantaneously.
And, if I remember correctly, your turtles are already too big for a 20 gallon tank anyways. When you buy them a new tank, they need a larger one than that.

I would recommend getting a large rubermaid (or similar) storage tote. You can get them 50 gallons + and they cost less than $20.
3 gallons is WAY too small for even one turtle. However, the storage totes aren't meant for long term, but it'll definately will last a few months while you keep out for a big tank

Get the storage container to use temporarily and look for a (much) bigger used tank (craigslist, classifieds, etc.).

Xt -- Give him a good home, whatever it takes. He needs a ten gallons per inch of clean water and at proper temp.

yeah and if your dad still has issues with a glass tank, get a stock tank it will be big enough as well as cheap. i could get a 110 gal. stock for $50 as opposed to a $106 45 gal glass tank.
