My big 120 gallon aquarium broke and my 30 gallon is filled with fish, so will my 4" girl be ok in an 18 gallon for 3 weeks tilll i can get her a new tank?

If she ends up on her back can she flip her self back over in the 18 gallon tank?

Rexi was 4 inches when we got her and we kept her in a 10 gallon, she was nearly 7 inches in a 20 gallon and she survived until we got a 30 gallon and she was still fine and now she in habits 110 gallons and she is perfect.

What happened to the 120 gallon? I hope it didn't burst, what a disaster that would be..

I know I have a little sister and I seen where a couple times she almost broke the glass my heart stoped every time lol so ya that would be a disaster

I was cleaning it and i dropped an ornament and it smashed the whole bottom of the tank.

man I would have been mad even with my 45g and 55g, I couldn't even imagin how mad I would be with a 120g tank

Just to make her happy you might consider going to walmart or target or something and buying one of those big plastic tubs. You can get a big one for pretty cheap and the stealth heaters will not burn through them. The only issue I ever had was getting the basking ramp to stick to the side. Good luck!!

I've figured a way to keep the dock in place. I am using a plastic tub till i can get a 110 gal. just get a shoe string ant attach it to the dock somehow and hang it on the wall so the dock is still touching the water and the turt can crawl on it but its not really going anywhere. thats what i'm doing . you could also use a piece of plexi glass it might or might not stick to that though.

A plastic Rubbermaid or Sterilite might suit you better. I've seen them at 40 gallons and larger, though they can't support being fully filled with water.

'What ever you do make sure that the water stays clean. That may require several water changes before you can get a new tank. I vote spending your money and get him a cheap larger container. Rubber maid, etc.

I looked but the biggest i could find was a 20 gallon rubbermaid, so i figured 3/4 of a rubbermaid was less then a full 18 gallon tank, so instead of buying the rubbermaid i built her an above-tank basking area

Oh, man. I just can't wrap my mind around what kind of a MESS that would be.

If it were me, I wouldn't put that ornament back into the new tank (bad memories).
