my turtle hasnt poop for a while now

about a month now
WHATS GOING ON?!?!?!! he eats fine does what he usually does, but he doesnt poop??!?

Are you sure he hasn't pooped while you have been gone? Many turtles poop will either disolve back into the water or eat their poop.
If you really think your turtle hasn't pooped in that long its possible that its impacted. If so you can try putting it in a seperate container with warmer water (85 degrees or so). If that doesn't work you will need to take it into the vet.

If he's still eating fine, then he's pooping regularly. You just aren't seeing the poop because he's probably eating it.

im not sure about him eating it, but before when i first got this baby i would always see junks of poop, i always watch my turtle, and never did i see those poop again

If he were impacted, you'd see other abnormal behavior in addition to lack of poop (he'd become inactive and wouldn't want to eat). If he's eating, swimming and basking, he's most likely eating it. (Don't put him in 85F water just to see if he'll poop.)

If others think the 85 degree water isn't correct. I apologize. I've never had this issue of possible impaction, but my vet said to do this if I ever thought one of my turts was impacted. He's pretty reputable, but I think he was probably referring to if they have other signs also.

You can verify with a vet but if a turtle is active and not going poop for a month he would be dead. He would poison his own body.

I have seen turtle poo once in my 6+ months of being a turtle mommy. I've accepted that he just eats it or something. It's very common, even if you don't watch them do it.

hdaisog, perhaps this is a matter of semantics...If a turtle were showing signs of being constipated (kicking at his tail/butt) then putting him in water that's a little warmer than normal will relax his insides and often will help him to poop. If, however, a turtle was suspected of being impacted, having him seen would be a good thing to do.
