Hi all, about a year ago we took in a turtle from some friends that didn't care very well for her. Although we have provided her with a better home she has proven to require more care than my wife and I can possibly give right now and we have determined that she needs to move out on her own, or at least with someone that can give her proper care.

Based on the previous owner's knowledge we believe she is about five or six years old or so.

Please reply to this thread if you are living in the Southern California area and are interested in providing a good home to turtle.

Thanks,
Eric

Have you tried contacting the California Turtle and Tortoise Club? www.tortoise.org

Your local PetCo may take it if you can't find a home for it. They can be trusted to find a god home. They brought my Sandy to me!

I wouldn't trust a pet shop to find a good home for any animal. They sell them to whoever wants them and often give them fales information on how to care for them.
