cloudy water

i have 20g long with a whisper 10 and 30 i give it about a day and the water is cloudy what am i doing wrong any help

That's known as "new tank" syndrome. Its when there isn't enough bacteria built up in the water to properly break down the ammonia and nitrates in the water. It doesn't affect your turtle. Do a few partial water changes and it should be gone in a week or so.

How big of a turtle do you have in the tank?

10 gallons isn't very much water...can you put more like 15 gallons of water in it?

Why are you thinking of not using the Whisper 10? If there was room, I'd be using more filtration rather than less...

When you clean the filters, do you rinse out the media in the tank water? If you use carbon, how often do you change it?

when i clean the filter i dont use the tank water should i the carbon is in the filter the turtle is about three inchs

I use a additive called cycle ask anyone its the best out there. It starts the bacteria in your tank. To help with this try getting a filter that has BIO wheels its all natural.

my floating dock has small cracks on the bottom would this cause it to be cloudy ive done some partial water changes and the water is still cloudy
