basking for RES turtles?

hey my turtles are basking alot but i had a question is it normal for RES turtles to bask with there heads out and legs sometimes? or even neck stretched? any suggestions or help would be great Thanks //vince

It's normal for them to stretch. Most of the time I see my guys in basking pose or "Superman" pose with their arms at their side, their legs straight out and their necks sticking all the way out. I think that's how they get dry all the way.

yep that is completely normal. yesterday i found my baby in this "flying" pose. neck stretched all the way out and front and back legs also. it was soo funny. i think the stretching really shows how much they love basking.

Just chance. Sometimes there's no one on for hours then BAM 20 people log on at once, so reply speed is always just who happens to be on when you post.

I have seen my guys stretch out legs and head.

They stretch out to get more of the warmth.
