Feeding carrots

First of all, I have to say it is extremely entertaining to watch my turtles eat a carrot! Nyx had a ball. She was throwing it and chasing it around the tank and then she would carry it around. It was just really entertaining. Both Nyx and the babies actually ate the carrots which is amazing because Nyx is super picky and usually doesn't like anything and at first I figured the babies wouldn't like the carrot because they were ignoring it. By morning the babies had their carrot (not a whole carrot) devoured and all the turtles have an orange beak! My question is, how often can I feed them carrots? I looked in the care section and it says:
"In small and occasional use, these vegetables help keep your turtle’s diet varied and balanced. These items have good nutritional value but may be potentially harmful if used in excessive quantities. "
What is occasional? Like every other day or more like once a month? They really enjoyed it so I was hoping it could become a regular snack for them.

I'd say once a week.

It's high in beta-carotene, so you will notice areas of your turtles start to get brighter.

It depends on how much you're giving. I give carrot peels about once a week.
