Alright this is about my slider's measurements.
I have had her for 7 months now and she has gotten pretty big, she is now 6 inch, she is not fat, not fatty meat bulging out or nothing. The reason I am asking is because I have seen things like this.

Turtle Age (Aprox) 1.5 years
Turtle Size (SCL) 4 inches

and this is my own Turtle:

this is a bit odd to me.

How big was your RES when you got him?

The 6" is just the shell, measured down the spine from the back of the neck to above the tail and excludes the curve of the shell? If so, then it sounds like your RES has been fed a bit too much and/or too often. What is your turtle's diet like?

How warm is the basking area and water? Temps that are too warm will also contribute to faster growth.

You said your RES isn't overweight. Is the shell healthy?

The Diet:

Sunday: Pellets (Reptomin) 1 head's worth + lettuce
Monday: Pellets (Reptomin) 1 head's worth + lettuce + cuddle bone
Tuesday: Pellets (Reptomin) 1 head's worth + lettuce
Wednesday: Pellets (Reptomin) 1 head's worth + lettuce
Thursday: Pellets (Reptomin) 1 head's worth + lettuce + cuddle bone
Friday: Pellets (Reptomin) 1 head's worth + carrot, or blueberry
Saturday: Pellets (Reptomin) 1 head's worth + lettuce

Water Temp:
The water is not really warm, its a bit cool and on other days its a bit warm.

Shell:
Her shell is pretty solid, not bad signs or anything on it, once in a while some of that green stuff grows on it but not a lot, I take that off using a toothbrush.
Baby:
When I got her she was like the size of a dollar coin.

Feeding:
At one point I did give her pellets because that is all she would eat, know a days she eats a lot of lettuce.

Note:
Recently she has gotten a bit aggressive like, its hard for me to catch her. Before she would stay by my finger if I put it in the water but know any slight movement and she bolts.

I'm curious to know how many pellets are in your one head's worth. I have the feeling it's quite a bit more than would be in mine.

Can you post a picture of your RES with a dry shell?

Without seeing her or knowing exactly how many pellets she gets every day, if she's grown that much at the age she is, I'd cut back on the pellets. And depending on how much you're giving, I wouldn't give them every day (every other day instead).

Lettuce is OK, but I wouldn't give it every day---vary it with other greens (dandelions, a small collard leaf, turnip greens, look at the list). Get her used to other veggies besides carrots and blueberries. If she refuses new foods, keep offering them. She sounds big enough that she could stand to miss some pellet days all together.

For the pellets I give her like 15 a day.

Looks like some shell retaining.

15 regular reptomin or 15 baby reptomin? If it is 15 regular that is way too much! My RES is 2.5' and he gets six baby reptomin which is about two regular reptomin.

what is shell retaining?

When turtle shells shed, all that's supposed to shed is the very thin, translucent top layer of shell. When scutes are retained, it means that the new layers continue to form underneath the old, but the old ones don't pop off like they should to make room for the new ones. Thus, layers of shell pile up. The problem with this is that if scutes are a little bit loose but don't fall off, bacteria and fungus can start to grow between the layers and the shell becomes infected.

I can see layers on your turtle's shell like rings on a tree trunk, so it does appear that she's retaining scutes. The shell looks pretty healthy at this point in time, though. How does her plastron look?

To help her shed, make sure she basks a lot under a good UVB light bulb and when she basks, she must dry out completely, top and bottom. Also, be sure she has a good, balanced diet that includes food containing vitamin e, which helps a shell to shed. Here are some good foods:

Tomato
Sweet potato
Turnip greens
Blueberries
Apple skin

It does sound like she's growing too fast. It's not healthy for her to do that - it puts a strain on their organs that may shorten her life. Here's a good link on turtle nuitrition. If you have any questions about anything you read, please let us know:

She's very pretty, by the way!

I cut off a lot of the pellets from her diet, these days its mostly veggies, and ill add the Tomato and sweet potato and so forth to her diet. The funny thing is, before she would rather starve than eat the lettuce but know she tares through them like meat, I'm happy about that.
