It might be caused by aggression. Try feeding them in separate feeding tubs.

Have you tried hand feeding them? I always hand feed my turtles their pellets, otherwise Michelangelo would eat them all up before Piper could get any! I also believe that by hand feeding them I remove the potential for aggression from fighting over food. Besides, getting your little turtles to take food from your fingers is fun!

Are they in a tank or a cage? If they are RES they need an aquarium. Most will only eat in the water.

i have them in an aquarium but when i feed them i put them in a different container so that the tank wont get dirty fast and i use the same water from the aquarium.

Thats normal for new and young turtles. They usually dont eat for a while until they adjust. Continue to try a variety of food along with pellets. Freeze dried shrimp treats, crickets, etc. Just whatever you offer give pellets as well. Eventually they will take to the pellets. Cut back the other foods and use them only as treats when they develop a taste for the pellets. they will be fine.
