Can you feed a RES a garden snail?

I thought to myself today if my turtles would eat garden snails..
but i wanted to check it out with you guys..

If there is any chance at all that the snail could be contaminated - fertilizer, insecticide, fungicide, etc - then don't do it. Mostly turtles eat aquatic snails that come into their tank accidently on aquatic plants.

How big are they? The shells on aquatic snails are fairly soft and easily crunchable.

mm true i have to think about the health of them.. the snails are all sizes from 2 cms to 5 cms +

i wouldnt.. they got germs.. just get some water ones.

I don't think you should feed it gardenn snails, since they're kind of big. I suggest feeding your RES pond snails. They're from 5mm to 10mm.
