I have noticed some red lines on the underside of my turtles plastron. I know this may be a sign of septicaemia, however he has had it since he had a lil shell rot a while a go but was treat by my very good herp vet and given the all clear any ideas as to what this could be if not septicaemia should i get him checked out anyway?? just in case?

Hmm... I think a picture if possible would help some of our wiser members to identify it. Could be septicemia, could be irritation from his basking area- what is his basking area like? A pic would really help.

A picture would be very helpful. Red could be so many things - shallow cuts or scrapes or bacteria come to mind. A turtle with septicemia is probably very sick - lethargic, not eating. If your guy is acting healthy, then it's probably not septicemia but it could be some sort of bruise or injury.
