Posted: Tue May 05, 2009 5:55 pmYou can't dodge the tank upgrade. You'll have to do it eventually, hun. If you look in the right places, like walmart, or glasscages.com, they have tanks at very nice and affordable prices.
In any case, a turtle grows about an inch a year I believe, if given the correct diet. So, your turtle can grow up to about eight or nine inches in a 66 gallon, before it will need a new tank. There's little sense in buying a new tank every single time a turtle grows one more inch than the gallons of the tank.
