Momo fell from her tank
Posted: Wed Jun 03, 2009 2:35 pmI came home yesterday from staying at my boyfriends and I sat down on my bed and noticed shed scutes on the floor.... I was like well thats not good. I found momo hiding under my ferrets cage. My mom had fed her the night before so I think she fell off her new basking area that same day, she seems fine I examined her shell really closely and didnt see any cracks or anything. It has been close to 90 here so she probably just got thirsty, but was luckily hiding in a cool spot.. I got her back into her tank asap and she has been fine since. I was very scared she would have a cracked shell since she fell over 4 feet and onto a hard wood floor with just a thin rug on it. I know how she fell and I plan to make adjustments today after work.
If you haven't noticed any unusual behavior (keep an eye on her), she should be just fine.
