If you had the money to buy any one thing for your turtle what would it be and why.

The only answer I would like to restrict is a larger tank because lets be honest here, thats something we all want.

As for my own personal answer...

This is something that would need to be made but I'd want an automatic feeder that has "pods" in it so you can portion food and have it spit it out daily. I was considering using a regular fish feeder but they dont have pods inside for portioning food out daily ;-/

Edit: Reason why is because sometimes all be it rare I forget to feed Niko ;-(

Something that would keep all the crap and debre off the bottom of the tank.
Because I'm not always the best to do that daily.

tam-i If you use a larger filter pump that keeps the water in a slight swirl would help. I have a 350 gph for a 29 gallon and it keeps the poo to a minimum. m. -- As always about I want a much larger tank. For some reason they seen to get bigger?? m.

Oh I have the big filter but some stuff still gets caught in the decorations and it just buggs me.
I have a xp1 on both my 29 gallon and on my 10. They work awesome. I'm just picky

How about a huge chunk of land with a pond that is fed by a creek, that would be all naturale! I would love to do this and have a well established colony of sliders in it. I would also have fish in it so I could fish every once in awhile. The house would be big to and the master bedroom would have a balcony overlooking the pond and creek. That would be gnarly.

Oh yeah, me too! Totally! :D

More realistically, I'd love one of those super fancy above tank basking areas that some people have made on this forum. The ones that take up the whole top of the tank, and are made of wood and plexi-glass and look really cool.

It's probably within my building skills, but I'm kind of a procrastinator, and the egg crate basking areas I've got right now work just fine.

A 40 gallon tank and a 200 gallon tank.

Edit: I know you restricted it, but, it's seriously the only thing I want.

Then you'd love the custom built one I bought heh.

I'll get a pic of it for you later... the canopy / basking half of it anyway ;-p

Cant really finish (staining / sealing) seting it up til I get the $750 I need for Nikos acrylic 60x18x24 perma tank.

I mean I could finish that but I'm takin my time with it heh.

I would get a nice big tank with a huge amount of filtration. Perhaps a 200-300g tank, and 2-3 FX5s. That would be sweet.

Aw joey, ya beat me to it! I'd like to have a ATBA custom made to fit right on top of my 75 gallon tank. with a big plexi window in the front to watch pickle bask, and matching oak trim, and some nice green astro turf for Pickle to walk on.

Does the answer "Having an outdoor pond" count as "Having a bigger tank"?

Actually, I want the money to get top-of-the-line everything for my turtle. (And someone to personally shop with me to make sure I get everything right! Some pet store workers are very less-than-helpful!)

I would carve out an old VW bug and turn it into a turtle tank. Bitchin'!

Umm, TheBean's tank? That's it, a custom-made stock tank that totally rocks. And all of the ta-da that comes with it, like MVBs and whatnot.

Short term, I'd love to have something awesome to keep her busy, like the most awesome toy ever. I bet if I could string up a pellet to dance around on the surface it would keep her busy for hours. I just feel like she needs things to do.
