anybody have any thoughts on using fluva u3 for a 46 long tank with one res. I had a marianeland penguine 250 but it way way too loud

c-glue -- If you want something quiet get a canister filter. You will need one that pumps at least 5 times the volume that you have in the tank. Don't size by doubling or triple some number. Turtles need a lot of water exchange. Check the gph before you put out your money. Good Luck! m.
