turtle swimming funny

what does it mean when the turtle is swimming and part of its shellisnt in the water??

Do you mean that he/she is swimming a little tilted (it's probably not the best word, but you know what I mean)?

There's probably some air inside the turtle's body. The turtle has difficulty
submerging too? Usually that's not a good sign.
If the turtle also has mucus coming out from nose and mouth, bubbling from nose
and mouth, lethargic, swollen eyes, not alert and very responsive to touch, the
turtle is likely having respiratory infection (RI). In that case, you need to take
the turtle to a vet so that the vet can prescribe proper antibiotic.
