Fish Food

I have 5 goldfish and 3 guppies in the tank with my turtle. He can't catch them really because they have places to hide. The goldfish are large and can eat the commercial turtle food I put in (leftovers from harvey (the turtle)) but the guppies are too small. Is there anyway I can put in some fish flakes for them every so often? Would it be disasterous to try just in case Harvey caught some?

Thanks as usual. This site has helped me soo much in taking care of my turtle and just as important, feel CONFIDENT while doing so. I'm so grateful.

It's actually better to feed the fish, because it will keep them healthy. I'd like my turtles to eat healthy meat, versus starved meat.

My guppies look pretty stuffed most of the time, whether I feed them or not. They enjoy eating my turtle's leftovers, poo included, so they're not starving by any means ^^
