stp - You mah considet dru docking him several hours per day and keep the eye drops on then. While in the tank they wash off too quickly.

I think what you should consider first is what's causing him to keep his eyes closed? When is the last time you did a water change? Have you changed his basking bulbs recently? Is there anything in the tank or environment that could be causing irritation?

1. Is the water too hot?
2. Water Dirty?
3. anything like small speckles of stuff floating in the water?
I wouldnt do any eye drops. I would start feeding him nothing but greens for a few weeks and see if it gets better. Lettuce's and stuff like that are very good for there eyes.
Getting Vitamin A (Great for eyes ..especially if they are puffy)
green leafy vegetables
carrot
squash
cod liver oil

i havent changed anything, water is 76-77 basking at 89 both bulbs are about 14ish inches away so i dont think the bulbs are the issues, and his eyes aren't swollen. i do weekly water changes as well and theres really no visible particles in water, what concerns me is that i just had a fish die of ich that was in the same tank, but i tihnk the general consensus on here was that ich isnt harmful to turtles. when i discoverd the ich i removed to fish to a hospitial tank to treat him. ill show him tough love and feed him only greens and see if that helps, plus ill do an extensive water change and see what happens.
