two new hatchlings to the tank - worried

I introduced two new babies to my tank yesterday. I bought them from vendors in chinatown that literally keep two babies in a small container in the dark for who knows how long. I did check their shells and their activity before I bought them and they seem ok.

I'm worried because all they do when the basking lamp is on is sleep! Even when I turned off the lamp at night , they did not go into the water to sleep...but remained on the platform. Also, it seems like every time the basking lamp is on, they just go to sleep.

Is this normal?

I have a total of three turtles in the tank, 2 new ones introduced yesterday and 1 existing one for about 4 months. I noticed that the baby that I have had for 4 months is also sleeping more when the basking lamp is on. Is this due to the basking area maybe being too warm that it knocks the turtles out? I took it's temperature and it's a bit above 90.

Water temp - 75-79. I'm going to bump it up to 80 today because they are hatchlings. Any suggestions and comments would be great.

yeah, i do have floating plants. the 4 month old sleeps in the water fine. I'm just woried about the new babies I introduced yesterday. Aren't they suppose to be afraid of me and be more active?

How much larger is the 4-mo old?

Aside from sleeping while basking, how are they acting?

the 4 month old is not much larger at all.

I notice the 4 month old is almost 99% sleeping while basking. I took them out for sun today and they are active. The other two babies are a bit more active now...I guess getting used to their new environment.

They all eat, just not as active as they should be, and like to sleep while basking. Should I be worried? Again, I only have a UVA heat lamp at this time so thats the only thing shining on them. Also have heater set at 75-79, and filter, etc.

thanks
