Chintoo died in vain

I just cant forgive my self. :(

My 7months lil RES Turtle, 1st ever i got any PET.

He was coughing since 1months, but i thought hes doing Yawns.. i showed him to doc 3days ago... doc said its Jondis, and today he died 10am IST. He was playing well in the water, bt i think he wast.. it mite b hes was struggling in water to breath. :(((

I hv another Turtle he/she(JERRY) is 1week old. I dont wana loss him.

Sorry to hear about your loss :(

Hatchlings are fragile and RES are good at hiding symptoms of any illness, so he might have been sick before you got him.

Im not trying to do best at my 2nd turtle, hes 1week old. 1'3inch.

Gona buy a Tank, but dunno if that small baby can swim in that.

Excuse me...you said you're NOT trying to do you best with the 2nd turtle??? I hope this was a typo...

He can swim in a tank. You didn't say how big of a tank you're planning to buy, but even if it's larger, with a basking area and places to rest (floating plastic plants are good), he should do fine.

Create a really good set-up for the new turtle so that he stays healthy. Make sure the temps (water and basking area) are good.

yea sry typo misstake.

i mean "im now trying my best."

Im planning to buy 24inch / 12inch TANK. Right now hes in a 15inch by 8inch long FLAT FIBER TUB.

great advice here!!!

the turtle needs a habitat and it mean $, and with time you will learn at this forum how/what to buy... make a nice lil set up complete with UVB light, basking light, water heater, basking, good filter etc... all under $100 find a shop that carries these items and buy them slowly if the case...
