I read about 40 pages in the forum but couldn't find help. I moved my turtle to a Rubbermaid stock tank. Plenty of room to swim and move around. It has been a week now and he just wonders around moping. I could shake his food canister and he would practically jump up and down. Now he just ignores me. He isn't eating much at all. Will he get used to his new home? Thanks, Lisa

Anytime you make a big change to their environment they will not eat for a while. It may take over a week to get him/her to eat. Keep the tank as turtle friendly as you can and they will start back to eating. Keep water temp. at 78 or 79 for a week or so, have the basking area at 90 ot 91 degrees with uvb lighting, have water filter exchange the water at least 5 times per hour and be patient. Good Luck!

Thanks. That's what I figured but thought it couldn't hurt to ask.
