Turtle food problem

hi,

My turtle is about 2inch long & 2months old.

I was feeding him TAIYO TURTLE FOOD, i bought new BOX of same TAIYO Turtle food, but its a lil more greener & has a strong smell. But food is same.

But my turtle is not eating from the new box. !!! :( PLEASE HELP

Do you have any of the other left? Maybe mix some together?

No, old box is empty. My mom feeded him threads of "LAL MATH" (red leafs threads) IMAGE > http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_KUb4V_BPNao/S ... l+math.JPG


AND coriander threads. he chews them. But hes still just takes new turtle food in mouth and spits away. he dun liek new turtle food i dunno why :(

Keep trying. Can you soak them in canned tuna water? Maybe try a different type?

Try breaking them up to make them easier to eat.

Sometimes turtles refuse new pellets. All three of mine have done that in the past, especially since they have been accustomed to eating a specific food for an extended period of time.

Soaking the pellets in tuna water makes them soggy. My advice is to simply continuously offer it, and eventually, your turtle's food seeking instincts will kick in. If this is the only food, they'll eat it because they have no choice. It's even worked with my stubborn, older turtle, who is used to eating nothing but live food and shrimp or krill.

Thanks guys for advice, I tried it. Bt i cudnt see him hungry, so i got some pellets from my neighbor Auntie & my turtle is eating those old pellets.

thanks all for the help.

I found the solution, i kept him busy in playing on warm matt for abt 1hrs, after that he was hungry & i feeded him new Pellets n cracked the pellets in half. He eaten them all :D
