Hello - my red eared slider had a very colorful belly when he was little. He's 8 months old now, and over the last 3 months his belly has faded to a solid yellow. He's got the red stripes by his ears, so I'm pretty sure he's a slider and not a yellow belly. Plus, he used to have the red ear pattern on his belly. He seems very healthy; eats eveything I give him (crickets, meal worms, dried shrimp, sometimes reptile sticks but he doesn't really like those). He won't eat vegs or fruit. Is this a sign of a health problem? Thanks!

Can you post a picture? What do you mean he has a red ear pattern on his belly?

Most RES won't eat veggies at first, you might have to try different kinds and use different methods.
