Water Level For 1.5 Inch RES

I Have Two RES Hatchlings Which Are Bout 1.5 Inch... I Keep Them In A 34 Gallon Tank..But One Thing : I Keep The Water level @7-8 Inches..Is It Ok ???

I believe you should fill the water up to the point where they can't escape. Just make sure your basking area is accessible and try to put some decor so the turtle can rest on it while sticking its head above water to breath. Have fun!

Thank You But I Read In A Site That Six Inches Of Water Level Should Be Maintained For Smaller RES... So That They Can Take The Pressure And Weight Of The Water?

I really don't believe that the pressure and weight of the water has any bearing on the water level for RES. That said, hatchlings usually spend time in shallower rather than deeper water, and fot small hatchlings I start out with shallower rather than deeper water, increasing the depth as they get used to it and grow (which isn't all that long).

Richieboy is correct. Even at a young age they are excellent swimmers. Just make sure you have decoration in there for them to rest on near the top.
